DEPARTMENT ACTIVITIES:

  • Work on selection and breeding of vegetables
  • Carrying out the field trials in order to find technological solutions for growing and testing different vegetable varieties and different types of vegetables in the existing agro-ecological conditions
  • Production of our own varieties of pepper (BL-early and Stela) for industrial processing and selling as fresh vegetable
  • Production of pepper is 30-50 t
  • Production of planting material of different varieties of potato in quantity about 400 t
  • Production of carrot, parsley, celery in quantity of 30 t
  •  Production of cabbage and consumption kale in quantities of 50 t, and cabbage seed of Varaždinac variety – 1000 kg
  • Production of seedlings of vegetable species (pepper, tomato, cabbage, eggplant, celery etc.) in quantity of about a million stems per year
  • New intensive program for production of healthy and safe vegetables
